Two quick questions…
Who served as the captain of the marines during the capture of John Brown at Harper’s Ferry?
Who, as a member of the State Militia, stood guard at the gallows when John Brown was hung?
When you come up with those answers you will shake your head and go, “huh…”

Well now I’m sufficiently embarrassed. Not knowing either answer, I googled it – not to try to impress you with my knowledge and put the answers here … but because I can let a question get by me without at least attempting to answer it for my own self!
Well the Google search took me right back here to you and not realizing at first, I clicked on it! hahahahaha
Happy father’s day, Mark.

Heck, I’m trying to find out what bridge was that they blew up on the movie “The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly”.

I’ll give you the answers…. Robert E. Lee was the captain of the marines and John Wilkes Boothe was the member of the State Militia attending the hanging.
